To address hunger relief, and as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dan and Hood To Coast Race Series worked with the Sunshine Division to create the Emergency Food Distribution Network, which has now safely delivered over 7 million meals to Portland area families and individuals.
He has served on, and chaired, many non-profit boards including All Hands Raised, Providence Portland Medical Foundation, INCIGHT, Oregon League of Minority Voters, Friends of Baseball, and he’ll soon join the board of the Portland Activities and Athletics Association (formerly the Police Activities League).
